One of our founders served sixteen years in the Royal Netherlands Marine Corps, including as a Mountain Leader and instructor in mountain and arctic survival. That experience forms the foundation of our products.
Because risks are often closer to home: power outages, floods, extreme weather, or a winter storm. During the first 24 to 72 hours, you must be able to rely on what you have with you.
That is why we develop emergency products that keep you warm, allow you to drink, provide light, and enable you to administer basic care, until the world gets moving again.

Why should I have an emergency kit at home?
Our goal is for every customer to be totally satisfied with their purchase. If this isn't the case, let us know and we'll do our best to work with you to make it right.
Who are the Forturus® packages intended for?
We are unable to accept returns on certain items. These will be carefully marked before purchase.
What is the difference between a Forturus® kit and a “standard” emergency kit?
We will work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information. Delivery times vary depending on your location.
Is the Forturus® 24H Emergency Survival Pouch only for extreme situations?
Our products are manufactured both locally and globally. We carefully select our manufacturing partners to ensure our products are high quality and a fair value.
How long do the contents of an emergency kit last?
Shipping is calculated based on your location and the items in your order. You will always know the shipping price before you purchase.
Do I need special knowledge or training to use the kit?
Our kits are designed so that the manual will get you a long way. However: the better you know your gear, the stronger your position. We recommend going through your kit once at a leisurely pace, unpacking items, testing them (where safe and possible), and gaining basic knowledge of first aid, making fire, building shelter, and distress signals.
Are the Forturus® kits suitable for children?
The contents are primarily intended for use by adults. Some items (such as fire starters, sharp tools, or certain medical materials) are not suitable for children. Keep the kit out of reach of young children and always use it under supervision and with common sense.
Where is the best place to store my emergency kit?
The most important thing is that you can grab it quickly if something goes wrong. At home, preferably choose one fixed, recognizable spot that is clear to everyone in the house (for example, in the hallway, by the front door, or next to the meter cupboard). Additionally, an extra kit in the car or camper is handy, so that you have basic equipment with you on the road as well.
Does Forturus® also offer a warranty on the products?
Yes. The statutory warranty applies to all Forturus® products. Additionally, we believe that emergency gear should do what it promises. If something goes wrong with a product during normal use, please contact us – and we will work together to find a suitable solution.
Do you also supply to companies, organizations, or emergency services?
Yes, we are happy to collaborate with organizations ranging from small businesses to larger organizations that want to better prepare their employees, customers, or members. Think of emergency kits for vehicle fleets, mountaineering groups, or security services. Contact us for custom solutions and larger quantities.
